This is a hilly walk with extended ascents.
We walk up and across the Trundle then descend to Binderton, where we cross to Stoke Down. Our ascent to Kingley Vale is a steep one! From the top we head north to join the Monarch's Way at Stoughton Down. We stay on the Monarch's Way through West Dean and back up to the Trundle.
Option of an afternoon tea stop at West Dean cafe.
This walk uses a lot of chalk paths and some may be muddy.
