A pleasant walk along riverside paths, through parkland and woods, passing an allotment and pointing out places and items of historical interest. We cross main roads that are served by buses to Hounslow, should you wish to choose a shorter walk. Suitable footwear is recommended as paths may be muddy. Please bring a picnic lunch, or refreshments are available to buy at Baber Bridge (4 miles into the walk) and the lunch stop is half a mile further on. Toilets are available at Twickenham Station, Kneller Gardens and at the entrance to the crematorium on Hanworth Rd. and may be available at the end of the walk at a Cranford café. Estimated finish 15.00.

Finishing at Cranford. (Buses H98, 81 and 222 run from Cranford to Hounslow where the H37 and 281 run to Richmond and Twickenham respectively. Piccadilly Line service is on the bus route to Hounslow Bus Station).
