From there we make our way to and around Snibston Country park. After lunch there we start heading back to Hugglescote via what remains of Snibston village, past the smallest church in Leicestershire, St Marys. The walk is mainly over open fields and countryside. Two country parks and 4 villages make up the rest of the walk. Sence Valley is now a fully established part of the National Forest after a fire a number of years ago destroyed a lot of the area. Snibston Country Park is a relatively new development but has been established for a number of years now with fishing lakes and a mountain bike track. The Century Theatre is based here along with cycle tracks and cafe.
