Starting this 8.5 mile walk at Soar-y-Mynydd Chapel, we will head up the byway to a height of 400 metres. We then drop down the valley to the infant river Doethie. Following the the river along it`s route to where it intersects with the lower route.
We then leave the river to climb out of the valley to a height of 420 metres. from this high point it`s all down hill back to the car park.
Strong boots and walking poles advised. Two strenuous climbs on this walk one at the start and then three-quarters the way round. The rest is descending or level (ish). Great panoramic views and isolation are a feature of this walk.
No dogs as lambing season, except assistance dogs.
