Overview

 Leaving Compton( which is east of East Ilsley) we ascend to discover the decommissioned World War II airfield above Hampstead Norreys. Continuing the walk we arrive at the village of Hampstead Norreys before returning to Compton by walking through open countryside and woods. 2 ascents, each one is about 100 m(328 ft).
