Overview

This walk takes us up onto the Mid Vale Ridge, with early views towards the Thames Valley to the north. Once on the ridge we’ll follow a bridleway towards Little Coxwell, skirting that to take us along a tree-lined path to Lyde Copse. From there it’s grassy paths to the bridge over the former Faringdon branch railway line at Wickleshamlodge Farm, after which we drop down and back to the start. All being well, The Old Crown Coaching Inn pub will be open for lunch for those who would like to eat or just have a drink together (completely optional). Vale Walk Leader DC 07544 979253
