Overview

This is one of our new sub-5 mile leisurely walks, with the bonus that this one does not have any stiles. The walk takes in the lovely countryside to the east and south of Faringdon, where we start. After passing the Folly we continue eastwards towards Wadley Manor then turning along a bridleway past Stanford Place. After crossing the A417 we continue on a bridleway to Wickleshamlodge Farm where we turn north to take us back into Faringdon. Bring a snack and drink for the refreshment break. There are coffee shops and pubs in Faringdon for those who would like lunch, or just a drink, there (completely optional). Vale Walk Leader DC 01367 820683 / 07544 979253
