Overview

This is a weekend walk for those who want to finish around lunch time. It is a walk for lovers of the Downs. From outside the Loyd Lindsay Rooms on High Street in the lovely village of Ardington we’ll walk to and through nearby East Lockinge then along a footpath up to the Wantage Monument on the Ridgeway. We’ll leave the Ridgeway to follow a bridleway down to Betterton Farm, with picturesque views to the lower Downs and Vale, then back to the start. Bring a drink and a snack for the refreshment stop. Park considerately in the village. Vale Walk Leader DC 01367 820683 / 07544 979253
