Overview

Lynton CP  up to Holiday Hill and the remains of the old house. Down hill and cross over to climb up South Cleave, giving the best  view of the Rocks and coast, weather permitting.  A narrow rugged descent to the road and lunch at Lee Bay. Around Crock point and back on good woodland paths to Lee Abbey. We continue on the  vertiginous Victorian tarmac Coast Path back to Lynton.   An alternative route is available if people suffer from vertigo.

Some steep climbs but worth it to achieve wonderful views of the fascinating rock formations and outstanding coastline.
