Overview

From Varteg Incline car park we go gently uphill onto and across Coety Mountain, with extensive views all around. Here some of the paths are rough and stony. Then we go down to Garn Lakes, past Big Pit, along the Coety Tip Trail, and on to Forgeside. From there we will pass through a short, slightly boggy area, and then up again onto Coety Mountain to pass the Dog Stone.
