Overview

The beginning of our walk involves ascending through fields before reaching access land which stretches the whole outward part of the walk below the Northern Escarpment of the Black Mountains. Having passed Gospel Pass road at lower level, we ascend to reach Hay Bluff where we have fine views of the surrounding countryside. From the ridge we return following the high level path along the edge of the escarpment finally descending the Dragons back then returning to our cars.

Parking available at Dinas Castle Inn, Pengenfordd LD3 0EP. Please note Honesty Box for parking £2 charge per car.

Walkers are asked to carry In Case of Emergency information, this might be on a card, key fob or on their smartphone.
