This walk has been cancelled

I recce’d it yesterday and the fields and areas around a lot of the stiles are extremely soggy and very slippery, and as a result of that, it’s far too risky to put the walk on.

Overview

A fairly gentle wander up through the Waen from St.Asaph, up fields towards Rhuallt, going past the old Farmers Arms, then briefly going on Offa’s Dyke path before turning down at Rhuallt past Plas yn Cwm and more fields with hopefully lovely views of the Vale in front of us as we head back to the Cathedral. There are four short stretches of minor road on this walk, the longest is around half a mile. The Translators Tearoom at the Cathedral will be open when we finish the walk, and there are toilets there also.
