We are the South East Berks Ramblers. We open the way for everyone in our local community to enjoy the pleasures of walking.

The walk begins at The Stag and Hounds which was reportedly used as a hunting lodge by Henry VII and Elizabeth I. From there we head out past Binfield Manor currently owned by the Sultan of Brunei. Much of the walk is in wooded areas so there is plenty of shade should we be lucky enough to enjoy a hot sunny day.
There are no stiles and the route is relatively flat. We plan to arrive back at the Stag and Hounds at 12.30hrs and those wishing to stay for lunch should send their food order to Heather no later than 20.00hrs on Sunday 6th July. The everyday menu is available on their website and we will try to distribute that days SPECIALS menu on the Ramblers WhatsApp group once known.
