Assemble outside the Red Lion pub in Little Missenden High St, where there is parking available along the roadside. We leave the village on a flat path following the Misbourne river to Amersham Cricket Club before turning uphill on open land and through woods to Holmer Green. We then follow a downhill track to Affrick's Farm before taking a rising path to give open views across the valley as we return to Little Missenden. Bring refreshments for one stop. (If you haven't aready seen the illuminated wall paintings in Little Missenden church, they're well worth visit).
