Overview

An undulating walk on the New Lipchis Way and the Serpents Trail to Heyshott Pond, then on to Hoe Copse and through farmland to Dunford Hollow Memorial.  We will return over Midhurst Common.  It may be wet and muddy with some stiles.

PLEASE NOTE:  A message from your leader.  After checking some sections of this walk, and the fact that the weather is unlikely to improve much before Sunday, I need to warn you that this walk will be both wet and muddy.  We will definitely encounter some difficult sections and there is no way to avoid these.  I suggest everyone be prepared for mud and some standing water and I would advise walking poles for the less tough.  Last year we had snow on this walk, so at least that won't be happening (we hope)!
