Farnham & District Ramblers offers an all-year-round programme of walks in the beautiful Surrey Hills, North East Hampshire, and South Downs National Park.
Our walk today will be undulating on The New Lipchis Way and The Serpents Trail to Heyshott Pond, walking through farmland and woodland to Dunford Hollow Memorial, then back over Midhurst Common. This should be a lovely autumn walk, with hopefully lots of autumn colour. However the paths and tracks may be slippery and muddy, especially if we have had recent wet weather.
Please bring a picnic lunch. Dogs are most welcome on the walk, but be aware of possible livestock in some of the fields.
Midhurst, North Street Car Park. Off the A286 behind the Information Office (at the north end of town close to the Cowdray remains). Parking fee payable. OS Map X133.
