Overview

Starting along the Trans Pennine Trail,  followed by some road walking through Dunham Town to the deer park at Dunham Massey, where we should see the deer. A refreshment stop with toilets at the Stables Cafe. Continue through the estate to cross the Bollin. Return either via the canal or on field paths to the start.

Henshall Lane Car Park is just off Station Road, Dunham Massey look out for the Rope and Anchor pub. There is a 25p return toll on the Warburton Bridge. Traffic could be slow on the return journey.
