We are the Portsmouth Ramblers. We open the way for everyone in our local community to enjoy the pleasures of walking.
Walk via Brinksole Heath, Bedham and Fittleworth Wood to Fittleworth. Return via Byworth.
Please bring food and drink for the day but drinks should be available at lunchtime at Fittleworth where there is the Swan pub and a shop/cafe.
Walk starts from main central car park at Petworth. This car park now charges on Sunday between 1000 and 1700. £2.80 for 8 hours by cash, card or phone. There are several machines but on 7th October one wasn't accepting cards. The Sylvia Beaufoy car park just off the A272 on the right approaching from Midhurst is free.
