Overview

Leaving the car park, we walk through the Walshes and across the common towards longmore hill Farm, turning left by the War Memorial at Ridley Cross, past the school and onto Prior’s Well where we will stop for a coffee break at St Peter’s church.  Continuing along the Geo Park Way past Glasshampton Monastery and through Upper and Lower Astley Wood and onto the river bank by the Burf. We will stop for lunch here with your picnic by the river. After lunch, continue towards Seedgreen Park and back onto the Geo Park WAy, past Redstone Rock Cave and back to the car park
