Overview

Please book with the leader.

We leave the village going south up to Old Winchester Hill, then over to Meonstoke and Exton.  Here we join the SDW to ascend to Beacon Hill, coming back to West Meon via Warnford. We'll see chalk streams, ancient hill forts and a shark!

This is a hilly walk and may be muddy in parts.

Park at the West Meon Recreation Ground car park off Headon View. The car park is signposted off the A32. Please take care if using a sat nav as they usually take you down very small roads from the A3. The easiest ways to drive to West Meon are: 1. West along the A27/M27, take the A32 north at Junction 10, stay on A32 till West Meon. 2. A3 to Petersfield, take the A272 west then the A32 south to West Meon.
