Overview

NO DOGS / SUNSET TIME ON THE DAY WILL BE 16:50 / WALK SURFACES  WILL BE UNEVEN, A FEW STEEP STEPS, AND SLIPPY IF WET ON WEATHERED STONE / £2 for non-Rambler members-Meet at Warton, near Carnforth, at the Old School Brewery, car parking can be limited.  Arrive for 12:00, ready to set off on the walk at 12:15.  Total walk Ascent is 1183ft / 361m.  A steep initial ascent upto the Trig at 525ft / 160m.  From there we walk on to the half way point, for a 15min break (No facilities), but benches, to enjoy the view over Leighton Hall and Leighton Moss nature reserve.  The walk then takes us through fields and woodland back to the start point, where, from 4pm to 7pm there will be live music with food available at the Old School Brewery.
