A Moderate 11 mile walk beginning in the lovely Roman market town of Alcester. Walking uphill out of the town, over a footbridge over the A46, through Overley Woods , and through farmland and small villages, visiting Haselor Church. Then crossing fields and a few small waterways on to Great Arne where we will stop for a picnic lunch in the church grounds. After lunch we continue through undulating farmland and along tracks back into Alcester at about 3:30pm.
Two long hills. A few minor roads to cross. A couple of fields of cows to navigate. Several rickety stiles. Some uneven cracked ground due to the dry weather.
