Start is from the carpark near the site of the former Waskerley Station.

It is just past St Matthews Church (which is hidden in the trees, behind the hay bales in black sleeving).

The walk follows fields, woodland, quiet roads, moorland paths and tracks, railway track.

Some tall vegetation (nettles and bracken) so shorts might not be the best option.
