Overview

Kingsclere is well known for its horse racing - with a number of Derby winners from the local stables. We will walk next to The Gallops and  see panoramic views as we head towards Watership Down, forever  immortalised in Richard Adams' classic tale of a group of rabbits who encounter danger, treachery, and hope as they try to find a new home when theirs is leveled for a housing development - still relevant today :)

Meet at 10.45am for 11am start. Bring snacks and drinks for 2 stops.

Everyone welcome including well behaved dogs and owners.

Bring a head torch just in case dark falls early.

Drinks and food after at The Star Inn, Newbury Road in Kingsclere. If you want a seat at my table direct message me.
