Overview

Hills, vales, footpaths, roads, tracks, dried up river beds, the longest holloway in existence and a very peculiar stile (see photo above). This walk has it all. Including a lunch venue that you will not believe.

Even on the recce it was muddy in places. I would suggest bring a pole and wear trousers rather than shorts on occasions the ferns took on Jurassic proportions.

A few stiles but not many. No steep ascents or descents but rarely flat.

It will be warm. I emptied my 1.5L bladder pack of water on less warm day. Please bring plenty of water. There are plenty of shady parts to the walk.
