We are the Brighton and Hove Ramblers. We open the way for everyone in our local community to enjoy the pleasures of walking.
A brisk circular evening walk of 5.8 miles starting at The Fox on The Downs Pub. We will take a short walk along Brighton Racecourse before descending into Bevendean and traversing through the suburb, ascending up through Bevendean Down. We'll take in views over Brighton and the South Downs circling back around Falmer Road and the newly resurfaced multi-use path, continuing back via the Racecourse. Culminating in an optional thirst quenching beverage at The Fox on The Downs for those who wish to partake.
Accessible via Public Transport via the Number 2 /22/37B - Alight at The Race Hill Bustop. Street Parking on Tenantry Down Rd.
If you can, please RSVP to this walk via our Meetup site. This will give the walk leader a rough idea of how many people may be attending. If you are a paid up member of the Ramblers organisation, you can ignore any waitlist you may find yourself on.
We don't ask you to pay to join us on your first three walks. Afterwards, in order to continue walking with our group, you must become a paid-up member of the Ramblers.
