Welford and Sulby Reservoir Circular

A flat and circular walk of about 6.5 miles, starting and finishing at The Wharf Inn in the village of Welford, Northamptonshire. The walk follows the Jurassic Way footpath following the Welford Reservoir, then crossing between it and the adjacent Sulby Reservoir. The walk is mainly through fields and along some country lanes leading to Sibbertoft. We then walk south towards the River Avon and follow it back to Welford Village. There will be a coffee break at St. Helen’s Church in Sibbertoft and lunch will be taken in a small copse further on. Post-walk refreshments can be taken in The Wharf Inn.
