Wells and Holkham

From Wells we follow a footpath to enter the east gate of the grounds of Holkham Hall. Later exiting through the north gate, we head down to Holkham beach, one of the finest in the country, with it's sand dunes and fine views of the North Sea. 

We walk along the coast towards Wells, initially along the beach, then through the pine woods on the dunes, emerging at Wells Harbour.

Following the harbour causeway, we reach the historic port town of Wells, exploring some of it's lanes lined with quaint C18th shops and houses.
