Overview

We will leave Wendover on the canal towpath, walking to Halton village where we will admire the church and the RAF graves, passing by RAF Halton towards Wendover Woods. A long, steep climb into the woods before our picnic lunch stop near the Wendover Woods cafe (toilets available). From here it is all woodland, a short but steep climb up to join the Ridgeway which leads all the way to Wendover Church. At the church teas will be served (from 2.30pm to 4.30pm) and it is a short walk back into Wendover High St.
