Overview

Starting at the Crown Wentnor (Re-opened 2023) the walk climbs to Norbury and the adjacent Linley Hill.

This provides excellent views over the Welsh Marches, with the Stiperstones and Long Mynd clearly visible. On a clear day the Brecon Beacons are visible.

The route then descends to the historic Norbury, before the short climb back to Wentnor.

Providing moorland walking with open vistas, it's an excellent get started walk for 2024 and an opportunity to dust-off the walking boots. This is a familiar walk for the group and is an excellent get-out and walk start to the year.
