Overview

This walk has it all - rocky summits, waterfalls, history, prehistory and wild open country.
Starting at the Ancient Briton in Pen Y Cae we begin with the ascent up Cribarth before continuing up crossing moorland to find the crash site of a Canadian Wellington Bomber. Next we visit the disappearing river at Sinc Giedd and follow it to a clear path, which we shortly leave to visit the waterfall at Sgwd Ddu. Finally we return to Cribarth, via the standing stones at Saith Maen before finally visiting the summit and rejoining our route back down to the pub.
