Overview

The Cambridge Group is walking between Cambridge and London in monthly sections along the West Anglian Way, using the train stops on the Liverpool Street line.  This seventh section is between Cheshunt and Tottenham Hale.  The walk takes in the River Lee Country Park, the Norman Waltham Abbey Church and Gunpowder Park before following the tow path next to the River Lee Navigation.  Bring provisions, facilities at train stations.  Pubs available by taking a diversion from the main path.

The meeting point is just outside the Cheshunt train station. If travelling by train purchase a day return ticket to Tottenham Hale ( check if a return to Liverpool Street is cheaper). Catch the 9.03 from Cambridge station arriving 10.00 at Cheshunt.
