Meeting time for car share: 9.30am at Midlothian Indoor Bowling Club Car Park, EH22 1JD, Dalkeith.
Start Time at West Linton Golf Course Road: 10.15am

A circular walk starting at West Linton Golf course, walking past North Slipperfield Farm along the Water Board Road to Medwynhead, down to Ferniehaugh and return passing the three cairns.
Terrain: Tarmac Road through the golf course and well-formed moorland roads and tracks.
Distance: 7.5 Miles
Ascent: Gradual 500 feet, no steep ascents / descents.
Times: 3.5 hours. Walk complete by say 2.00pm
Coffee and Lunch stop.
From the golf course we proceed through the course to North Slipperfield. Join the Water Board Road to Medwynhead. Leave the road and walk down the farm track to Feniehaugh Farm. To avoid going through the farm we will cut across the field behind the farm and join the moor road passing the three prehistoric burial sites cairns to West Linton.
