If you are a Ramblers member, please bring your membership card. You MUST text or ring the leader to BOOK a place. You should not join the walk unless you have received a verbal CONFIRMATION or a TEXT.
This circular walk takes us through parts of Westbury, that we usually drive past, to climb onto the North face of Salisbury Plain and the White Horse. Hopefully we will have great views West and North. On a clear day it is possible to see May Hill West of Gloucester. From here we follow the Imber Path/Mid Wilts Way before descending to Upton Scudamore. The route now takes us across meadows to Old Dilton and the Biss Brook, around the Leigh Park and back to the cars. Please bring your lunch.
For those members who are happy to car share, we meet first at the Bath Road car park in Chippenham. (“Pay and Display”). Lifts are suggested at £3.40.
