Overview

From the East Lane Car Park in Wheathampstead, via Nomansland, Heartwood Forest to a brief Pub stop (for a drink only) at a Pub and then along the Ayot Greenway path and thence back to Wheathampstead.

The walk is pretty flat all the way but at this time of year it is likely to be cold, possibly wet and some parts may be muddy - so walking poles would be a good idea.

Bring sandwiches & tea / coffee - and if you plan to go into the Pub - BOOT COVERS!
