A circular walk starting in Whitchurch taking in the countryside of the North Wessex Downs AONB and passing through the hamlet of Litchfield. The route takes in the undulating countryside to the north of Whitchurch.
The route passes twice over the Roman road from Silchester to Old Sarum at Caesar's belt. The route partially follows the old Southampton to Didcot railway including through a disused tunnel. (60ft in length)
Dogs welcome on a lead. Toilets available at the start location.
Optional post walk refreshments at the Kings Arms, Church Street, Whitchurch.
