Overview

Join me for this leisurely 4 mile winter stroll from Huddlesford along the Coventry Canal to the sleepy village of Whittington near Lichfield. We will walk through the village which boasts one church, a few shops and 4 pubs. We will visit St Giles Church (where there is a toilet opportunity) and its graveyard where a man, whose name may be in your knickers, is buried. There are no hills and only one stile (which can be circumnavigated). About half the walk is on paved areas and the other half is on the canal towpath which could be muddy in places. Post-walk refreshments can be taken in The Plough near our parking place.
