We are the Bath Ramblers. We open the way for everyone in our local community to enjoy the pleasures of walking.
Join us for a walk across fields to Abson, then down through the enchanting Golden Valley Nature Reserve.
There are a few ups and downs, especially at the beginning of this walk.
The leaders pre-walked the route on Monday morning and the ground was very muddy and quite slippery in places. They advise taking extra care on Sunday, and that walking poles and boots are essential.
As this is Kingswood Ramblers' last walk before Christmas, there will be a break for Lesley’s home made Christmas Muffins and Chris and Sue's mulled wine at Abson Church, which has a large porch where we can sit and rest. Or you can bring your own drink and snack.
Short drive to the Griffin pub, 107 London Rd, Warmley, Bristol BS30 5JN for a drink after the walk.

Meet in Brockwell Park car park, BS30 5PD, on the A420 main road through Wick. (Look carefully, it's very easy to miss the car park entrance! Travelling from Bristol, the entrance is just past the speed camera, and the entrance to the Primary School).
