Overview

Following (mostly) good tracks through the New Forest, this walk goes through some lovely stands of old oaks and leafy glades. With luck we may see some of the elusive red deer. Be prepared for a few muddy (but negotiable) patches. There will be a short road section, but a good verge is available to walk on.

Please bring refreshments for a coffee and lunch stop.

There are plenty of cafes in Brockenhurst if you want a coffee and cake after the walk.

No booking required, but please make sure you have your ICE (in case of emergency) card with you. If you don’t have one, please speak to the leader.
