Sunday 8th March – WInchcombe – 9 miles
Start point: Winchcombe long stay car park - GL54 5PZ

what3words: united.folds.riverside
(Distance from Kings Norton is 37 miles, 60 minutes driving time)

This walk does not go up to Belas Knap but goes to the east of the village.
Following the Gloucestershire Way north on the outward journey and the Cotswold Way. On the
return leg there are superb views given good weather. A long and sometimes steep ascent (only 1051ft in total for the whole walk) at the start but then undulating, mainly on good paths. There are two very very short tricky steep descents where care needs to be taken. Mud on the recce as you would expect is ever present at the moment but surprisingly much better than expected. There are only 4 stiles and a little quiet lane walking. Poles are highly advised for both the ascent and descents mentioned above. Stout footwear is essential!

Walk will start at 10am prompt.
