Overview

A 9 mile strenuous walk around Winscar Reservoir near the source of the River Don on Open Access Land on rough tracks and crossing some streams on stepping stones. The walk also takes in Holme Styes Reservoir and Hade Edge with views towards Holmfirth. We will stop for lunch in Hade Edge with the chance to visit The Boshaw Trout Pub. In a dry spell the walk grade becomes moderate.
