Starting in the main car park at Chatsworth House we walk uphill to the Hunting Lodge before walking through Stand Wood to the Rabbit Warren. Then it's onto Gibbet Moor which we cross to Heathy Lea Brook and then cross the A619 to Gardom's Edge and the A621. It's then through Raddowhole and Yeld Woods to Baslow. Then it's back through Chatsworth Estate parkland to the start point.
Toilets at the start and in Baslow. Pub stop in Baslow. May have three breaks with a short lunch stop depending on timings on the day. Please be aware when I did the prewalk some time ago the footpath down Heathy Lea Brook was muddy and a bit of a scramble.
Walkers are reminded it is their responsibility to wear appropriate footwear/clothing, bring adequate food and drink and carry emergency contact details. Go to the Walks/Information for Walkers tab for more details.
