The Beachy Head Ramblers opens the way for everyone to enjoy walking the downs, clifftops, and wealdways of our area.
Starting from Exceat we walk through the country park to Exceat New Barn. We turn south and head to the Seven Sisters coming out just below Short Brow. We cross Rough Brow and Brass Point and then head inland to East Dean via Gap Bottom and Crowlink. From East Dean we pass Cornish Farm, Mill Down, Crapham Hill and Eastbourne golf course to Warren Hill.
Those who wish can peel off where the SDW crosses the A259 to get buses home or to car parks . The walk will continue south east on the Wealdway eventually dropping down to the finish at Holywell and an optional drinks stop at the Pilot Inn
It is possible to leave the walk at East Dean for those wishing to do a shorter 4.7 mile walk or the SDW at Eastbourne golf course to get buses (8 miles)
