Overview

The walk will take us through the village of St. Brides picking up the footpath opposite the Farmers Arms before crossing the fields and through the woodland down to the Dunraven Estate.

Mid morning break - after walking up the hill from Dunraven, we thought we'd have our mid morning break at the Three Golden Cups, Southerndown as a pre Christmas treat - we will still be sitting outside, but on proper seats and under cover. We will have to purchase a drink from the pub, the manager assured Ruth and I that the coffee machine would be up and running........ Still bring a flask, as you'll need it at lunch time.

The walk will then take us inland, road walking for a while before we pick up the coastal path and will stop for our lunch somewhere along the rest of the route.

There is another up (sorry ! )  after lunch as we make our way up the road to join the Common before coming back to the start point.
