Our Winter Walks Programme has monthly walks on the first Wednesday evening each month (apart from October) from October until April. These walks are all on well lit streets mainly on pavements or illuminated footpaths. They all start at 7pm and are approx. 4 miles usually finishing between 8.30pm and 9pm.
Along the A1013 and Rectory Rd to Orsett Village and tour around the streets of Orsett taking in the different architecture. Return via Baker St and along the A1013 passing the new Orsett Academy and returning to The Civic Centre. Around 4 miles in length along well lit roads although the light may be moderately good as the clocks have not gone back at this time.
