Join the Chiltern Young Walkers for some Winter nature bathing on this refreshing circular walk through beautiful woodland.
Starting at the ever popular Tring Park with it’s impressive rolling landscape, we will begin with a few steep hills to get us all nice and warmed up. The trail will then level out rewarding us with some impressive views of the Vale of Aylesbury before heading away onto lesser known paths through beautiful quiet woodland filled with nature. We will take a break half way for lunch and to stop at a village pub.
What to bring
- Water to stay hydrated
- Walking boots (no trainers please, parts of the route will be muddy)
- Packed lunch/snacks
- Layers for changeable weather
Parking
We will be meeting by the ‘new’ Tring Park Car Park, this is the upper carpark. If you’re coming from Tring you go under the bypass to reach it. Parking is free. If this carpark is full you can try the lower carpark or park on Hastoe Lane further down and walk up to meet us. Please leave plenty of time to find parking before the walk starts.
