Winterfold & Pitch Hill

REVISED AND SHORTER ROUTE OMITTING EWHURST PLACE TO AVOID THE WORST OF THE MUD.        An interesting walk starting downhill to follow paths eastwards along the northern boundary of Alderbrook Park to Winterfold House. After reaching Rapsley Farm a long and steady ascent - but avoiding all the steepest paths - to the viewpoint on Pitch Hill, then return west along the Greensand Way including a short steep climb to the Ewhurst Windmill before passing the two artworks entitled "Contour" and "Perspectives".
