Overview

Walk from Witham railway station by the Rivers Brain and Blackwater passing a rare timber trestle viaduct. Continue to the village of Wickham Bishops.

Two return routes possible:  1. By unusual Little Braxted church, which involves more road walking,

or 2. By a more country route but which does retrace the outward first couple of miles.

Second route is about 1 mile longer.
