This lovely scenic walk covers a variety of terrains and some lovely villages. Gentle undulations make for beautiful views. We follow the Leicestershire round from the tiny hamlet of Withcote through some shady woods to Somerby then go cross country to Knossington before returning to the cars.
Two stops - lunch and coffee so come prepared. There are few stiles but some uneven ground so poles may be of use.

Please park on the verge of the Knossington Road Withcote near the edge of the wood. This is a couple of hundred metres from the junction with the Oakham road. There is one house soon after the intersection. Park on the Oakham road side of this - see map. W3W stirs.damp.common
