Overview

Fairly flat walk through the countryside to the north east of Witney Town. Some walking through the town, but mostly field paths, woodland and quiet lanes. Stopping at North Leigh church and passing the Lady's Well at Wilcote and following parts of the Wychwood Way.

Car share if possible.

Buses S1 and S2 from Oxford stop in the centre of Witney.

Expect plenty of mud, especially if it has been wet recently. Wear suitable stout footwear and trekking poles may be  helpful in places.

Dogs on leads only please due to livestock in some fields. Please be aware that there are a few stiles which are not dog friendly and they will need to be lifted over these.
